1. What is Glara Home's return policy?
- We accept return requests for in-stock furniture items within 7 days of receiving your order, provided the items are in their original condition and packaging. Please note, a 20% restocking fee will apply, and the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Special orders, custom-made items, clearance items, and "as-is" products are non-refundable.
2. Does Glara Home offer warranties on furniture?
- Yes, our new residential furniture comes with a one-year manufacturer’s warranty that covers manufacturer defects. For added protection, we also offer an optional Zucora 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan. Please note, the warranty does not cover commercial use, clearance items, floor models, or "as-is" products.
3. How can I exchange an area rug I purchased?
- Area rugs are eligible for exchange within 15 days of delivery or pick-up. Rugs must be returned in brand new, unused condition, free from stains, odors, and pet exposure. Customers are responsible for shipping fees. To initiate an exchange, please contact us at info@glarashop.ca.
4. What delivery options does Glara Home offer?
- We offer two main delivery options: Threshold Delivery and White Glove Delivery. Threshold Delivery includes drop-off at your front door or driveway, while White Glove Delivery includes assembly and removal of packaging. Currently, White Glove Delivery is available only within British Columbia, while Threshold Delivery is available across Canada.
5. Can I cancel my order after it's been placed?
- Yes, you can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it by emailing us at info@glarashop.ca. If your cancellation is approved, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note, special order items are non-refundable. Deposits for in-stock items are refundable if canceled within the first 72 hours after payment.
6. How long does it take to receive my order?
- For in-stock items, delivery within British Columbia typically takes 7 to 15 business days. Special order items may take approximately 6-8 weeks to arrive at our warehouse, and delivery will be scheduled within 7 days after that. Delivery times for other provinces may vary.
7. What should I do if my furniture arrives damaged?
- If your furniture arrives with visible damage, please note it on the delivery slip and take photos. Contact us at info@glarashop.ca within 48 hours of delivery to report the issue. We will work to resolve it as quickly as possible.
8. Do you ship furniture outside of Canada?
- Currently, Glara Home only ships furniture within Canada. We provide delivery services across most provinces, with special arrangements for remote locations.
9. Can I track my delivery?
- Yes, our delivery services include real-time tracking. You will receive tracking information once your order is ready to ship, and you can monitor your delivery status up to the scheduled drop-off time.
10. What is the Guardsman 5-Year Furniture Protection Plan?
- The Zucora 5- year Furniture Protection Plan offers extended coverage beyond the manufacturer’s warranty. It helps protect against accidental damage like stains, spills, and tears, giving you peace of mind for a longer period. This plan is optional and can be added to your purchase at checkout.
